Rickertville Farm offers naturally grown gourmet food and seed garlic for sale, grown with care in Newaygo County, Michigan.

Rickertville farm is proud to bring our naturally grown garlic to you.  We hand plant each clove in the soil in the fall. We hand harvest, tie and hang the garlic stalks in a large farm barn to have it cure.  After our garlic cures, we then clean and inspect each bulb by hand.

This is our second year growing garlic on our small farm.  We have begun our expansion into growing Shallots, Leeks, Ramps (Wild Leeks) and other Alliums for 2012.  We proudly grow our produce by natural means without any pesticides or bio-engineered fertilizers.  We will also be providing hrbs to compliment our garlic.  We have begun growing our garlic bulbils to produce garlic greens to provide a delectable garlic alternative until our garlic bulbs are available late summer early fall.  Or you can grow your own with our Garlic Greens Bulbils Kit available at our site (see link below).

Our family has been assisting us with the entire process; from preparing the field to selling.  They have been involved with planting, harvesting, tying and cleaning along with attending local farmers markets.  W hope this will become a family business in the coming years.

In 2011 we sold most of our garlic at local farmers markets and a little online.  We hope to expand our online sales, please come visit us often to seee what we have available.
