Wow, things have changed - 2015 now! Our garlic fields are covered with snow. Approximately 24,000 cloves of garlic are waiting patiently for spring to arrive in Newaygo, MI . . . We have the following varieties in their raised beds:
Hardnecks: German White, Music, Chesnok Red, Kilarney Red, Montana Giant, Brown Tempest, Polish Hardneck, Russian Giant plus several new varieties.
Softnecks: Nootka Rose, Loiacono Italian, Early Italian . . .
And hundreds of Elephant "garlic" ROUNDS, and elephant bulb cloves.
