We have finished the 2015 season at the Muskegon Market. October 31, 2015 was our final day at the market. Cold, wet, drizzly but still fun as the vendor, market master and children were in costume. We handed out a lot of candy, honey sticks and gourds to the little trick or treat"ers". Decided to have a clearance day of fill a large plastic bag for $3.00, it went pretty well even though the market was slow.
All the garlic is now in the field, sleeping in their rows. Fortunately a day or so after we finished planting the drizzly rain started and provided a nice bit of moisture to the soil, hopefully giving the garlic cloves the necessary water to establish a good root system. So far this autumn has been very warm, it's November 4th and it's sunny with warm temperatures.
Well I must sign off now, I'm working for a temporary position at the library and must get ready to go for the day.
Peace.
